1993 Eagle Talon Tsi?
I've been searching for a new car and have a budget of 5000 dollars. I want a car that's fast, fun, and that i can work on myself. I've mainly been looking at civics and found one that's perfect for me with 130,000 miles that's exactly $5000. But, I also just found a 1993 eagle talon tsi with 145,000 miles for $4,000. It has a new jpipe on turbo and jdm intercooler, new head, 3 angle valve job, new timing, mass air flow wired correctly, aftermarket radiator and fan, full 3inch magnaflow exhaust from the turbo back, evo big 16g turbo and the block is stroked .20 over, greddy turbo timer just needs to be hooked up and an safc that's zeroed out but ready for use, new alternator and belt. The only thing it needs fixed is the front passenger side control arm. The price is $4,000. Is it worth buying? Or should i just go with the civic like i had planned on doing?
Those cars were nothing buy money pits that needed repairs daily. I owned one, unfortunately.
