It should also be seen that one purchases only branded transformers. Since a substandard purchase might save a bit of money in short run but they won't serve the purpose in the long run.
Remember, any damage to your expensive laptop or iPod because your transformer could not maintain the constant supply of electricity flow to these appliances, would definitely be a disappointing sight. So avoid such situations at any cost.
