Do I stand a shot at the NBA?
On varsity basketball, sophomore in hihg school, 5'11, white with mad hadles and a great jumper. Quick, runs a 4.8 40 yd dash, and a 23 inch vertical. Avged 30 ppg on JV last year.
If you are a sophmore in HS and not playing Varsity then I would probably so no. A 23 inch vertical is not much at all. Most males have atleast 20+. A solid basketball vertical leap is 30+. A great/world class vertical is 40+. Until you do something on Varsity and/or the AAU circuit then your shot for the nba is slim. You need to go to either a division 1 college or a top 10 junior/community college. Good luck!
